Batman Arkham Origins

Batman: Arkham Origins is a 2013 action-adventure video game in the Batman: Arkham franchise. It’s a prequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, set years before those games and showing a younger, less experienced Dark Knight early in his crime-fighting career.

Story & Setting
The game takes place on Christmas Eve in a sprawling version of Gotham City, before the rise of the city’s most notorious criminals. Batman is still early in his career and not yet the fully refined hero seen in the earlier-released games.
The main plot centers on crime boss Black Mask placing a huge bounty on Batman’s head, drawing eight deadly assassins to Gotham to kill him. Batman must hunt down Black Mask while dealing with chaos in the city, confronting villains such as The Joker, Bane, Deathstroke, Anarky, Deadshot, and others.

Gameplay & Features
Open-world exploration: You can freely explore Gotham City, gliding across rooftops or cruising its streets chasing criminals.
Combat: Builds on the Arkham series’ signature FreeFlow combat system, letting you chain punches, counters, gadgets, and takedowns in fluid fights.
Detective tools: Enhanced detective mechanics let Batman investigate crime scenes using his gadgets and forensic tools to piece together what happened.
Gadgets: Classic tools like the Batarang, Batclaw, and explosive gel return, with a few new gadgets adding tactical variety.
Side content: Beyond the main story, you can intervene in crimes in progress and hunt down “Most Wanted” criminals for upgrades.
