Story and Setting
You play as James “Jimmy” Hopkins, a mischievous 15-year-old who’s been dropped off at Bullworth Academy, a fictional New England boarding school filled with cliques, bullies, and corrupt faculty. Jimmy must navigate the school year, deal with various student factions (nerds, jocks, preppies, etc.), attend classes, and complete missions to rise in social standing and help balance the school’s chaotic social hierarchy.
The game blends core story missions with a wide range of side activities—including pranks, races, and social interactions—within an open world you can explore freely.
