Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection is a modern compilation of the entire Mega Man Star Force sub-series. It brings together seven game versions from the original Nintendo DS releases, adds modern quality-of-life features, supports online battles, and includes bonus content like an art gallery and music collection. It released on March 27, 2026 on Nintendo Switch, and is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Story / setting
The games take place in the year 220X in a world built around “Wave technology.” The main character is Geo Stelar, an 11-year-old boy dealing with the disappearance of his astronaut father. After receiving a mysterious signal from space, he meets Omega-Xis, an electromagnetic alien. Their fusion creates Mega Man and starts the central adventure across both the real world and the Wave World.

Gameplay style
Star Force is basically the successor to Mega Man Battle Network, but with its own identity. It mixes action RPG, deck/card-based combat, and grid-style battles, with the viewpoint shifted behind Mega Man instead of the side-on Battle Network style. Critics have noted that it feels familiar to Battle Network fans, while still having its own combat flow and tone.

Bonus content and extras
It includes bonus cards that were originally hard to get, such as cards tied to real-world events and toys, though Capcom notes that some bonus cards are not included. The original toy link features from the DS versions are also not supported in this collection.
