Medal of Honor: Airborne

Medal of Honor: Airborne is a World War II-era first-person shooter developed by EA Los Angeles and published by Electronic Arts. It’s the 11th main entry in the Medal of Honor series, originally released in 2007 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 (with a mobile version also launched).

Story & Setting
You play as Private First Class Boyd Travers, a paratrooper in the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division, fighting across key battles in the European Theater of World War II. Missions take you from Sicily and Normandy to Holland and into Germany, with objectives tied to real operations like Market Garden and others.

Gameplay Highlights
Unique Parachute Drops
Every mission starts with a parachute jump from a C-47 transport plane — and you choose your landing spot. This freedom was unusual for WWII shooters at the time and strongly affects tactics and mission pacing.

Open-ended FPS Action
Once on the ground, you can approach objectives in many different ways rather than being forced along a strict path like in older shooters.

Weapons & Combat
The game features authentic period weapons that can be customized or upgraded, and combat ranges from close quarters to open battlefields.
