What Is Hytale?
Hytale is a block-based sandbox RPG made by Hypixel Studios. It’s built around two big ideas:
(1) a full adventure experience with exploration, combat, progression, and dungeons, and (2) creator-first tools
that let players build worlds, custom content, and even mini-games.
If you like games where you can build freely but also want quests, enemies, loot, and boss fights,
Hytale is designed to sit right in that sweet spot.
Release & Development Status
Hytale was revealed years ago and went through a long development journey. In mid-2025, development was publicly
canceled when the studio began winding down, but the project was later revived. The game officially entered
Early Access on January 13, 2026.
Early Access note: Expect frequent updates, balance changes, new features, and occasional bugs.
This is normal for Early Access releases, and the game is designed to evolve over time.

- Exploration: Travel through a procedurally generated world filled with biomes, secrets, ruins, and dungeons.
- Combat: Action-based fighting with different weapons, enemies, and progression as you improve gear.
