Echoes of Elysium

Echoes of Elysium is a co-operative airship survival RPG that entered Early Access on January 27, 2026 for Windows on Steam. In it, players build and customize their own flying ships, explore a vast sky-bound world of floating islands, gather materials, and battle mechanical foes and environmental threats — either solo or with up to six friends.

Core Concept

The game takes place in the procedural world of Elysium, where the skies are filled with fractured island biomes to explore. Your centerpiece is your airship, which acts as your mobile base, workshop, and fortress. You’ll craft and upgrade airship parts, tools, weapons, and gear necessary to survive the challenges that lurk above the clouds.

Building & Customization

Airship construction: Pieces together sections, sails, weapons, and other modules to create a unique flying vessel suited to your playstyle.
Crafting: Collect resources across islands to craft better components for your ship and yourself.
Progression: Unlock tiered gear, tools, weapons, and ship upgrades as you gather more materials and explore deeper into the world.

Exploration & Combat

Sky adventure: Travel between fragmented biomes in the sky, each with distinct threats, resources, and mysteries.
Enemies & hazards: Face clockwork enemies, hostile towers, and other skyborne dangers — combat occurs both from your airship and on foot when you land on islands.
Co-op play: Team up with up to five other players online to collaborate on airship design, exploration, and survival.
