Battlefield 1

Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on October 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Setting & Theme
Unlike most shooters focused on modern or futuristic warfare, Battlefield 1 returns the series to a historical setting — the First World War (WWI), often called The Great War. Players experience combat across multiple fronts of this global conflict with weapons, vehicles, and technology authentic to the era.

Key Features
Single-Player Campaign (“War Stories”)
The campaign is not one continuous story, but a series of “War Stories”, each from the perspective of different soldiers in different theaters of WWI (e.g., Western Front trenches, Middle Eastern deserts, Alps, and Gallipoli).

Multiplayer Battles
The heart of the game is its multiplayer mode — massive online battles supporting up to 64 players. Teams fight together in large-scale combat with infantry, vehicles, and aircraft.
Multiplayer includes classic Battlefield modes like Conquest and Operations, as well as others emphasizing teamwork and territory control.
